Undercover brand logo1/5/2024 There's so many good collections it's hard to really pin down one that I can say is my favorite. What brand would you like to see “COVERED” next?Īny suggestions and feedback are greatly appreciated. How would you describe Takahashi’s design style? What’s your favorite UNDERCOVER collection/piece? A couple well known pieces are the “SHE BRINGS THE RAIN” leather jacket, the Double Rider jacket, underlined U logo tee, and the “Hands” bomber (shoutout and creds to /u/NFLXnCHill for the pic). Some of UC’s most notable motifs and concepts are “For Rebels”, “Noise Music Laboratories”, “WE MAKE NOISE NOT CLOTHES”, and “Anarchy”. A list of online stores can be found here. UNDERCOVER is currently stocked in many countries worldwide including most major European and Asian countries, ranging from the U.S and Canada to the U.K, Germany, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, etc. Following the growth of the brand, a dedicated store was opened in Aoyama. The store was half-UNDERCOVER and half-BAPE. The brand’s first store was a collaboration between Takahashi and Nigo of A Bathing Ape. In 1997, Takahashi won the grand prize from the same publication and in 2001, he held his first Paris show for the Spring/Summer 2003 collection of UNDERCOVER. A few years after graduating, Takahashi presented his first collection at Japan Fashion Week for Fall/Winter ’94-’95 and subsequently won the New Face Prize in fashion from the Mainichi national newspaper. UNDERCOVER’s history of revolutionizing Japanese fashion was started in 1990 by Jun Takahashi while attending the Bunka Academy of Fashion Design. u/multiwatered 's List of Websites Selling Japanese Clothing - East/West/Secondhand Otherwise, try a sub like r/streetwear, they have a much more active userbase.Ībout Japanese Raw Denim - /r/rawdenim Brand Spotlights Trust me, if you look, you'll find answers to nearly everything you want.
